There was a picture with a young girl wearing a tradition black burqa with the title, 'You can tell someone's smiling'.
This young girl likes art, newly released films, hanging with friends, but unlike most 18 year olds she wears a solid black sheet covering her entire body except for her eyes.
What really grasped my interest about this article was the irony of how I couldn't see her smile with her black burqa on, but Aaliya Shakoor wears the burqa to actually cover her smile and everything else so her personality would be the first impression and not anything else.
Shakoor chooses to wear her burqa not just because of her Muslim religion but because she wants to be known for her personality and not what she looks like.
She chooses to speak through her eyes and that was really inspiring to me.
