Sip happens, and it’s up to someone that can promote and
advertise the best of the best.
When you think of the food and wine industry, your mind
tends to instinctively think of a chef or sommelier of a restaurant.
However, not all people who have passion for food and wine
want to be part of the gruesome restaurant life.
Some may want to be hermits and live quietly amongst the
vineyard and cellars while mastering the grape must which creates the wine.
Some may want to be the head of the garden in which the chef
will take vegetables from for his restaurant.
Others may want to sell the wine, but not necessarily on the
sales floor in a restaurant.
Maybe, they want to sell in a wine shop away from the chaos
from the restaurant.
Maybe, they want to sell directly from the source at the
winery.
But, wouldn’t it be the most fanciful job to sit, 9-to-5,
Monday through Friday, and orchestrate the harmony of selling wine through
media and sales representatives?
Since the media has taken a new and more intense role in the
world, Facebook and other social media sites have become one of the most
important sources for promotions and news.
It takes someone to stand up and master promotion and
advertising for a business.
The most perfect job would be to work for a winery and being
the marketing director.
A person in which he or she strategically plans for
positioning the brand across all markets nationally and even internationally.
A person in which is a key leader for the sales team to
build rapport and develop new relationships with key buyers while spreading the
word of the brand.
It is up to that person to be the chieftain of advertising
of that winery.
It may not a three-figure salary, but the creativity and
leadership that you will obtain will overlie finances tremendously.
